DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
TO PUT ON (Psst...it's so simple!)
- Remove any sharp jewelry and smooth out all rough edges on your cast to prevent tearing the DryCAST diaphragm.
- Using your thumb, stretch the diaphragm to make room to insert your cast.
- Insert your cast into the DryCAST cast cover.
- Once completely over your cast, push the plastic ring toward the cast so the inner edge of the diaphragm points up and away from the cast.
TO TAKE OFF
- Stretch the rubber diaphragm with your thumb to ease over your cast.
DryCAST is a single patient use medical product. Please do not share your cast cover.
Before choosing a cast protector, please follow these steps to make sure you get the correct size.
SIZING INSTRUCTIONS:
With a tape measure:
- Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the top of your cast and add 1 inch.* This is your LENGTH.
- Measure the thickest point (circumference) of your cast (this may be the elbow area). This is your CAST CIRCUMFERENCE (MAXIMUM).
- Measure the circumference of your bare arm 1 inch above your cast. This is your BARE ARM CIRCUMFERENCE (MINIMUM).
*Important note: If there is less than 2 inches between the top of your cast and your elbow, you will need a protector that seals above your elbow at mid-bicep. All measurements (length, cast circumference and bare arm) should be measured from your mid-bicep.
Look at the table below to see which cast protector is right for you.
